In 2022, after a year of health struggles with colds and allergies, Chef Maher Fawaz set out to restore his family’s vitality through food as medicine. Inspired by his grandparents’ wholesome halal traditions, he spent two years crafting recipes and ingredients with the highest nutritional value to introduce to the world. The result: Simply Halal’s Nutritional Collagen and Beef Bone Broth Stock, thoughtfully created with nutrient-dense ingredients like grass-fed beef bones, organic nutritional yeast, and ancient sea salt—free of fillers and chemical processes.

Fatima Hammoud leads Simply Halal with heart, purpose, and over two decades of experience in healthcare and business leadership. With a Master’s degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Economics from the University of Windsor, she brings both strategic insight and a global perspective to the brand. Her background in the medical device industry shaped her belief that wellness begins with quality, honesty, and trust. Guided by that vision, Fatima helped create Simply Halal as a brand that reflects purity, transparency, and care for every family. Her dedication to empowering healthier lifestyles through faith-driven, clean nutrition continues to inspire everything we do.
Maher Fawaz

He’s an executive chef and entrepreneur with over 27 years of experience in food quality systems, large-scale operations, and culinary innovation. Before founding Simply Halal, he spent decades leading culinary and operations teams in airline catering and hospital settings — where he mastered food safety, menu engineering, and high-volume kitchen management.
When he started Simply Halal, he brought that same precision and craftsmanship to every formula. After more than two years of careful research and development, he and his team created halal collagen and bone broth powders that stand out for their purity, nutrition, and true chef-crafted quality.
Certified by North Carolina State University in Acidified Foods Manufacturing and HACCP Systems, he believes in combining authenticity, science, and faith-driven integrity — the foundation behind every Simply Halal product.

With over a decade of experience in food safety and quality assurance across the USA and India, she brings deep expertise in HACCP, GFSI, and USDA/FDA compliance. As Simply Halal’s Senior Advisor for Food Safety & Quality Systems, she guides our production partners and quality programs to meet the highest international standards. Her background in microbiology testing, root-cause analysis, and regulatory audits ensures every Simply Halal product upholds the integrity, safety, and transparency our brand promises.
