Ingredients

Broth Base

  • 3 scoops (54g) Simply Halal Beef Bone Broth (reconstituted in 3 cups hot water as base)

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs halal beef brisket, seasoned
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 parsnips, chopped
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pot over medium-high; sear beef on all sides (5 minutes).
  • Add chopped onion, carrots, and parsnips around the beef.
  • Pour in reconstituted broth and add bay leaves. Season with black pepper.
  • Cover and braise in oven for 3 hours until tender. Slice and serve with vegetables.
