Ingredients

Broth Base

  • 2 scoops (36g) Simply Halal Beef Bone Broth (reconstituted in 4 cups hot water as base)

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 1/2 lb halal beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 inch ginger, sliced
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a pot, sauté sliced onion and ginger over medium heat for 3 minutes.
  • Add reconstituted broth, star anise, and cinnamon stick; simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Cook rice noodles separately according to package directions (about 5 minutes); drain.
  • Strain broth if desired, then divide noodles and raw beef slices into bowls. Pour hot broth over to cook beef. Garnish with cilantro.
