Ingredients

Base

  • 2 scoops (36g) Simply Halal Beef Bone Broth (reconstituted in 2 cups hot water) used as cooking base
  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Melt 2 tbsp butter in a pot over medium heat. Sauté diced onion and shredded carrot until golden (5 minutes).
  • Add basmati rice and toast for 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Pour in reconstituted beef bone broth, season with black pepper, and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes until rice absorbs the liquid. Garnish with parsley before serving.
